ON DECK PRIVACY POLICY

Your data
stays yours.

Your shifts, notes and pay information belong on your device. Here’s how On Deck handles them.

Effective October 14, 2026
Offline by design. No account. No advertising. No analytics. No automatic cloud sync.

Your data stays on your device

On Deck Shift & Pay Planner (On Deck) is an offline personal schedule planner from Truck and Toolbox LLC. It does not require an account, run advertising or analytics, track you across apps, or automatically send us your schedules, hours, notes or pay information.

Information stored locally

The app stores the job names, employer and site labels, shift patterns, overrides, pay rules, worked-hours records, notes, drafts, preferences and export history you enter. A limited schedule snapshot is shared locally with the On Deck widget through an Apple App Group. We do not have a server copy of these records.

Optional system permissions

If you enable reminders, On Deck requests permission to schedule local notifications with shift details. Notifications may be visible on your Lock Screen according to your iOS settings. If you export to Calendar, the app requests write-only Calendar access to add your chosen shifts and committed notes. It does not read your existing events. You can deny or revoke either permission in iOS Settings and continue using the app.

Exports, restores and device backups

Exports and JSON backups are created locally. You choose a destination in the iOS share sheet or select a file to restore. A destination such as Calendar, email or a cloud drive handles that copy under its own terms. Calendar exports create new events and cannot update or remove earlier exports. Apple device backup features may include app data depending on your device settings. On Deck itself provides no account or automatic cloud sync.

Retention, deletion and recovery

Local information remains until you change or replace it, or delete the app. Archiving a schedule retains its records and notes. A backup restore also keeps a local recovery copy of the previous data. To remove all app records and recovery files, delete On Deck rather than offloading it. Widget snapshots can remain in the shared App Group until the app and its extensions are removed by iOS. Delete any exported files, Calendar events and device backups separately at their destinations. We cannot recover or remotely delete records stored only on your device.

Support and this website

If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond to your request. Avoid sending private backups unless needed. You can request deletion of information you sent to support by emailing that address. Visiting our support website is separate from using the offline app; the hosting provider processes ordinary connection information to serve the page. These pages contain no advertising or analytics scripts.

Policy changes and contact

We will update the policy and its effective date if our practices change. Questions about privacy or deletion of support correspondence can be sent to [email protected].
