Tuna Beach Privacy Policy

This policy covers Tuna Beach Guitar Tuner, published by Truck and Toolbox LLC.

Tuna Beach asks for microphone access so it can identify the pitch of an instrument. Microphone samples are analyzed temporarily in memory on your device and immediately discarded.

• Audio is not recorded or saved.
• Audio and pitch readings are not sent to Truck and Toolbox or any third party.
• The app does not run speech recognition or attempt to identify voices.
• You can revoke microphone access at any time in iOS Settings.

Reference tones, the lock-in sound, and metronome clicks are generated locally on your device.

None. Tuna Beach does not ask for an account or personal identifier and does not include advertising, analytics, attribution, telemetry, remote-configuration, or crash-reporting SDKs. It does not use cookies, device fingerprinting, or cross-app tracking.

The app stores your selected tuning, reference pitch, Pro Mode setting, and haptics preference in the app's private UserDefaults container. These preferences are not uploaded to us and we cannot view or recover them.

Depending on your Apple backup settings, iOS may include app preferences in a device or iCloud backup. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple. Deleting Tuna Beach removes its active local data from that device; backup copies remain subject to Apple's controls and retention practices.

The tuner, reference tones, tunings, settings, and metronome work without an internet connection. The app has no application-owned network client and no third-party software dependencies. Opening Support or Privacy Policy from Settings asks iOS to open the corresponding public webpage in your browser.

Because Tuna Beach does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal data from children and has no app-held personal record to access, correct, export, or delete. For questions, contact us at the address below.
