WireCalc's calculators work offline, without an account, analytics, or advertising. Calculations, saved history, and preferences are stored on your device. You can choose to copy or share results, contact support, or open external links. Those actions and device backups are described below.
This policy covers the WireCalc iPhone and iPad app, published by Truck and Toolbox LLC (bundle identifier com.truckandtoolbox.wirecalc), and explains related support and website interactions.
WireCalc does not automatically send calculation inputs, history, identifiers, or usage information to Truck and Toolbox. It has no account system, analytics, advertising, or third-party crash-reporting SDK, and does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photo library.
The app does not use tracking or fingerprinting. Information you deliberately send in a support email is separate from this on-device processing.
WireCalc stores saved calculations and preferences in its private app storage, using local JSON files and iOS preferences (UserDefaults). Saving a calculation does not upload it to us.
You can remove saved entries in More > History. Deleting the app removes its local app data; offloading an app may retain its data. Depending on your device settings, app data may be included in iCloud or computer backups and restored later. Manage those backups through Apple or your computer.
Deleting an entry or the app does not delete copies you previously shared, clipboard content, support correspondence, or backups. Truck and Toolbox does not operate a WireCalc cloud-history service and cannot restore your history from our servers.
WireCalc's calculations do not need a network connection. The app does not operate a telemetry, remote-configuration, or calculation backend.
If you select Privacy Policy, Rate this App, or Send Feedback, iOS opens the selected website, App Store destination, or email app. Those services may use a network connection and handle information under their own policies. Our website hosting and delivery providers may process ordinary request information, such as IP address and browser details, to serve and protect the site. Visiting a website is separate from using the offline calculators.
Copy result places the selected result on the system clipboard. Clipboard access and cross-device clipboard behavior depend on your iOS settings and the apps you use.
Share opens the iOS share sheet with a calculation summary. You choose whether to proceed and which app or recipient receives it. The destination's privacy practices apply. WireCalc does not automatically share results with Truck and Toolbox or anyone else.
If you choose to email [email protected], we receive your email address, message, and any attachments or calculation details you include. We use that correspondence to respond to your request and investigate the issue. Email is handled by the email services involved in sending and receiving your message.
Do not include information you do not want to send. Contact us at the address below to request deletion of support correspondence. Records may need to be retained to resolve an open request or satisfy legal obligations; deleting the app does not delete email already sent.
WireCalc is a trade-reference calculator, not a service directed at children. Its calculators do not require personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can address it.
We will post revisions at this address and update the effective date. You can access the policy from More > Settings > Privacy Policy in the current app. Older builds without that link can use this website directly.
