PipeCalc Support

Questions, bug reports, feature requests, or a calculation that looks wrong — all of it goes to the same place:

PipeCalc is a reference calculator — if a result looks off, we want to know. The fastest fix comes from an email that includes:

• the exact inputs you entered and the screen you were on
• what the app showed vs. what you expected
• your device and iOS version (Settings → General → About)

For a fitting take-out that looks wrong, tell us the fitting type, size, and schedule — take-out values do vary by manufacturer, and we track that per fitting.

Do I need to sign in or create an account?

No. PipeCalc has no account, login, or cloud sync — open it and it works.

I uninstalled the app and lost my calculation history — can I get it back?

Deleting PipeCalc removes its local data from that device, and we cannot recover it because PipeCalc has no Truck and Toolbox account or cloud-sync service. A device or computer backup may still contain a copy. Backups are controlled by you and the backup provider; restoring or deleting them must be done through that service. See our Privacy Policy.

What happens when I tap Share?

PipeCalc opens the standard iOS share sheet with a plain-text calculation summary. Nothing is sent until you choose a destination. The selected app or service receives the text under its own privacy policy; PipeCalc does not send a copy to Truck and Toolbox.

Are the fitting dimensions official?

Catalog take-out values follow ASME B16.9/B16.3/B16.11, shown alongside the computed value where they differ. Actual fitting dimensions vary by manufacturer — always measure the fittings you're installing and verify before cutting.

Do you offer refunds?

Refunds for App Store purchases go through Apple, not us directly — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Email us too if something didn't work as expected; we'd like to know either way.

Can you add [feature]?

Maybe — email us. We read every request even if we can't promise a timeline.

PipeCalc does not automatically collect or send personal data to Truck and Toolbox. Calculations and saved records stay local unless you choose to share a result. Read about sharing, local storage, and backups in the Privacy Policy.
